In the case of Blue Ivy and her dancing abilities, it seems the apple does not fall far from the Beyoncé tree. At the VMAs, she demonstrated that she knows the "***Flawless" dance, and now, thanks to her de facto godmother Gwyneth Paltrow, the world knows that Blue can do all the choreography from Sia's "Chandelier" video. During Gwyneth's appearance on Watch What Happens Live, a caller asked her what the greatest perk of being friends with Jay Z and Beyoncé is. Gwyneth gave her usual "they're awesome" answer, but she also shared some fun new details about Blue.
"She is a powerhouse," Gwyneth said. "She is like the boss of everything. And she can do all the choreography to Sia's 'Chandelier' even though she's just three years old. She's just super-smart and I love her so much." Yeah, so does everyone. But you do you, Gwyneth. And Sia, if you need a new child dancer for your next video, you know who to call. [via E!]

Just one week after he engaged in a heated Twitter debate over the terror attacks on Charlie Hebdo, CNN international correspondent Jim Clancy announced he is leaving the network after more than 30 years at the network. In a short note to his CNN colleagues, Clancy did not give a reason for his departure. Read the full memo below: After nearly 34 years with Cable News Network, the time has come to say Farewell! It has been my honor to work alongside all of you for all of these years. This is one of the greatest news organizations in the world. It has truly revolutionized information delivery while driving technological advances in how we gather the news. Through it all, CNN has been a family to my own family. That means something. As I reflect on all of the great adventures and achievements of the past, I wish you great success in the future. Jim Clancy “The cartoons NEVER mocked the Prophet. They mocked how the COWARDS tried to distort his word. Pay attention,” Clancy tweeted on the day of the Paris attacks. Subsequently, he accused Israel and Zionist propaganda of being partially responsible for the attacks. As of yesterday, he had deleted his Twitter account. A CNN spokesperson confirmed the news, saying, “Jim Clancy is no longer with CNN. We thank him for more than three decades of distinguished service, and wish him nothing but the best.” R&B singer Chris Brown appears in Los Angeles Superior Court in Los Angeles Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015. A judge has revoked Brown's probation but allowed him to remain free for now after the R&B singer traveled without approval for a concert and failed to complete community service on time. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin allowed Brown to remain free until a March 20 hearing when the judge will receive an update from probation officials. |
